Ron,

We second the recommendation for the Hotel Bernerhof.  They posted their
special for the day (tagestellar) on a sign by the sidewalk.  We also
thought that the Landgasthof Ruedihus just south of town was special.  The
pasta and pizza at the Restaurant Antico was very good.  If you want to walk
from Kandersteg along the Kander River to Blausee, you can be rewarded with
a great trout dinner.  Or, if you don't wish to hike, it's a short bus ride.

Thankyou to all who have contributed to Untourists albums.  It certainly
helped to convince us that Switzerland was the place to go.

We will be on our first Untours trip in May, staying in Kandersteg.   We've
done a lot of research and planning and have a pretty active schedule ahead
of us, but would appreciate any suggestions for restaurants for dinners in
Kandersteg.
