We are anticipating a trip to Switzerland in September, Frutigen, to be =
specific. We have been to the Heartland a few years ago.....
I'm sure you will find plenty to do, but if by chance you encounter a =
period of rain, here's what we do. Get an express train south and go =
through the mountains and down to Lugano. The change from one side of =
the Alps to the other can be amazing. When you get to Lugano, take the =
funicular down into the old city, and walk down to the lake. Your rail =
pass is good for the boats on Lake Lugano. Or just sit at the lake and =
enjoy the warm sunshine.
