This information may or may not bel helpful but I'll pass it along in =
case even though we never took gifts but once gave a bottle of wine and =
another time bought a plant for our hostess after we got there.=20
I noticed our landlady carrying a pretty totebag one day with designs on =
it from New Mexico. When I admired it she said it was a gift from an =
untourist and she had really enjoyed it. So maybe that will be an idea. =
