Well yes, the Hofbrau is touristy and you will bump into a lot of groups  
from all over the world, but you can't beat the show, the food and most of all  
the beer.  When we went last spring we also had a German and his wife on  
vacation that were really, really enjoying 
EVERYTHING!!!!!.  It give you the whole Germany experience.  Do  it!  It's 
fun!
