[Idyllchat] train or hotel?

I don't know how you pack, but I usually don't check my luggage on the
train. There are luggage racks on the train carriages. We usually just haul
our luggage with us. It would save some time not having to check you luggage
and then picking it up at the other end. That said, if you pack heavy or
getting bags on and off the train is difficult for you, then the Swiss have
the luggage transport thing down to a science. It would be silly not to take
advantage of it.

My wife and I once took an Inn-to-Inn trekking tour in the Berner Oberland.
We would grab our day packs and hit the trail, and the hotel we were leaving
would send the rest of our luggage to the hotel we were hiking to via the
rail system. We never had a problem.
