Been reading that people haven't been getting Idyllchat messages....maybe we need some "issues" to throw back and forth.  So, I was thinking about the problem of reserving our favorite apartment, but someone else gets there first.

But, in the spirit of the season, and hoping to keep everyone in a happy mood, how about we discuss something about our previous Untours?  What, in your opinion, makes a "favorite" Untour?  Is there some one thing that stands out for you?  For example, Jan says her favorite trips include meeting some very special people; local residents, hosts, shopkeepers, and other Untourists.  As I think about that, and remember back to our many Untours (15, I think), what comes to mind are individuals:  the late Mr. Kohler, landlord in Reuti; the kind Swiss lady (and her mother) who gave us a ride after we missed the last bus; Elizabetta in Ticino who helped us buy fresh local trout; Harold and Ruthie; Bob and Fausta; Johanna.....  Well, you get the idea.  What makes an Untour a "favorite" for you?
