[Idyllchat] Munich Airport

Harold, this June we stayed at the Best Western - Airport in Munich, and 
found it a good place to stay.  However, it was a way from the airport via 
the hotel's shuttle at a cost of 9-10 euros pp each way.  We were there 
during the World Games, so we were so fortunate to learn from one of the 
idyll-chatters where there may be a room and she was right on target.  Now, 
if I had my choice, I would have stayed at a hotel right on the airport 
ground w/in walking distance, about 2-3 blocks as I recall.  What I don't 
recall is the name of it, for it was an apparent German name.  Perhaps 
someone on here knows the name of it, for it's a huge and modern-looking 
place, seemingly to be a convention center.  Even the airport web site may 
have some reference to it, for there were directions to it in the signage 
w/in the airport, something that I don't recall ever seeing before.  You 
may google the airport and just see what you find.  Sorry that I cannot be
