A number of years ago, when visiting Paris for the first time, we did a day
trip to the Loire Valley which was wonderful. It might have been booked
through the American Express office there. I remember we went to Blois, and several
of the chateau that are familiar, with a nice lunch included. It was all
day, but was very comfortable and we didn't have to drive.
