Hi -
Thanks for the great photos, Mitch! We've been in that territory too, =
as our son, his wife and our 7-month old first grandchild live in Moab. =
Dan was drawn from home, here in Albany NY, out to western adventure =
where he worked full-time as a river guide for ten seasons with OARS out =
of Moab, taking customers on the Colorado River, often on the same trip =
you did through Cataract Canyon. Now that he's a new Dad, he's a =
part-timer, but his heart is always on the river and in that red rock =
landscape. =20
Would like to suggest a book by a Utah author, Ellen Meloy, "The =
Anthropology of Turquoise". =20
Love the reminder of the desert SW and our family there. What a dilemma =
it poses for us when it's time to travel: Utah or Untours??!! =20
