[Idyllchat] Swiss hikes

I wear New Balance "903"' Model Walking shoes, which have been superseded by 
"965"  Serious treads on the bottom.  You can see them at www.newbalance.com
They come in widths, so good for narrow or wider feet.  These are rugged 
country walkers, waterproof.  I would not hike at Level 3 without good 
tread--more for slippery rock, gravel, on downslopes.  Also we go to CH in 
mid-May to mid-June when there can be a bit of snow left at higher levels. 
I carry a stick like most, but only one.  Two is better.  Good planning.
