Hello,
This is the second notice regarding this upgrade.
On February 16th, 2006, DCANet will be performing an upgrade to the network infrastructure that provides Internet connectivity to our Verizon DSL Subscribers in Delaware and Pennsylvania. The termination point of the DSL private virtual circuits (PVCs) that are delivered to DCANet by Verizon is being moved to DCANet's high-availability datacenter in Wilmington, DE for the purpose of enhancing the reliability of the DSL service. This upgrade will affect DCANet Verizon DSL customers in Delaware and Pennsylvania only. All other services will be unaffected.
The scheduled maintenance window for this upgrade is 2:00AM-6:00AM EST. DSL subscribers will notice a slight service disruption at some point during this window, and DSL modems or routers may need to be rebooted if service is not restored automatically. Aside from this, service should be unaffected. If service is not restored when the router or modem is rebooted by 6:00AM EST 2/16/2006, please call the DCANet helpdesk at 888-4-DCANET (888-432-2638) to report the problem.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding this upgrade, please contact the helpdesk, either by phone, or by e-mailing help@dca.net. DCANet values your business, and we look forward to providing you with excellent service.
Sincerely,
DCANet Support
