A lot of people do know that in CH, a salaried worker of any sort is 
usually given a 13th month of salary at the end of the year. This 
considered a perk just like any other job benefit. I have always 
thought that most take this money for expenses having to do with 
Christmas, etc.

A recent survey shows that to a large extent, folks use this money for 
other things.

32% will pay taxes with it.
28% do not get a 13th month salary.
25% will save it.
23% will use it to travel.
18% will buy gifts with it.
15% will spend it on other things.
7% will use it to pay debts.
5% will use it for other purposes.
